How to Make Killer Nachos

Nachos: also known as the greatest appetizer/entrée of all time. When you go into a restaurant, what is ALWAYS the best deal? The most amount of food for the cheapest price. I can almost guarantee, that almost any restaurant you go into, that has nachos... the nachos will have enough cheese, chicken, carnitas, sour cream, guacamole, and chips for 3, all for only eight dollars. Everybody loves nachos, and if you don't well your either a sissy, or your crazy. You all probably ask yourselves EVERY SINGLE DAY, "how can I make some awesome nachos at home" Well today I have the answer for you:

1. You are going to need supplies.

Homemade Cookies

-Obviously cheese, typically a 5 cheese mixer will do, but be creative!
-Guacamole, make it yourself if you know how, if not, go to your local Mexican grocer and buy it there.
-Sour Cream, again, go to the MEXICAN market to get authentic Mexican sour cream
-Salsa, this is up to you, I prefer to leave it out because it can make the chips soggy.
-Jalapeños, this is the main part, get some great peppers and give your nachos a nice kick with some awesome flavor.
-Chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, fish, whatever you want, add them all! They are nachos that is the beauty!
-Chips, make your own, or buy them at the market, make sure they are corn tortilla chips.

2. Layer the nachos, chips first then a layer of cheese, your choice of protein(beef, pork, shrimp, or all of em), and peppers, than more chips, and than another layer of cheese, protein, and peppers. Layering is the secret to awesome nachos! It makes it so that every bite has tons of cheese, peppers and protein.

3. Put in the oven for about 10 minutes at about 350 degrees. (make sure you preheat the oven.)

4. Here is the fun part, add everything you want on top, the sour cream, guacamole, and anything else you want. Tower it high! The higher the better.

5. Enjoy your creation!
